El grupo oficial VKontakte de Tanki Online apareció en Enero 2011. El community manager Ruso, Maksim Khusainov, prometió sumergirse en el agujero si el número de suscriptores en el grupo era de más de 500000. El 27 de Septiembre, 2014, esta marca fue superada, y en Año Nuevo Maksim cumplió su promesa - en el primer vlog del 2015 comenzó hablando desde el agujero.
